I Have A Surgery Date!!

Well I am on day 6 of my pre-op diet and my surgery date is Oct. 29th at 10 am.  I haven't posted prior to this cause been super busy.  Had basal cell carcinoma removed from lower back, doing pre-op testing among other things.  You guys are such great support and I enjoy reading most posts and gathering information and inspiration.  Good luck to anyone else having surgery this month and congrats to everyone already on the band wagon. 

Oct. 29th will be here before you know it.    I had surgery 3 weeks ago tomorrow and am completely off my diabetes medicine.

hello, my name is Sandra, congrats on having your surgery!!! i,m having my surgery on Nov. 3rd. best of luck to you, I'm sure you'll do great. i am so lucky because my doc is not making me do the liquid diet but only one day, the day before surgery. i am so glad.i guess every Dr is different. you'll probably lose a lot of weight before surgery, because of the liquid diet. well, i hope everything goes great with your surgery.  Sandra
